The Surrey Section kept their meetings going during the COVID-19 pandemic with their regular virtual Zoom get-togethers. Top left clockwise: Martin Wilkie, Graham Hudson, John and Matthew Bass, Steve Wheeler, Malcolm Fry and Alan Ellis. Despite various tech, reception and mental capacity issues, they ended up having good fun for an hour and a half, with chat ranging from gearboxes, lock-down and Loc-tite, whilst they waved, shouted and fell in and out of focus. A beer helped those who had swapped their toilet roll ration for ale and they all managed to get a word in edgeways by hook or by crook(crank?). Let’s hope there are not too many more virtual pints left, but we celebrate the Surrey Section and those other Sections in their efforts to maintain contact with their local Members.
