In the early seventies a Brit emigrated to NZ and took with him several Vincents. Twenty + years ago he returned to Stafford in the UK for his elderly mum (in her 90's) taking some oddments with him. Several years ago I bought a 54 C shadow in NZ which he had sold in a dilapidated state in the very late 70's/possibly very early 80's in NZ and was then rebuilt in the early 80's.
Any information on this gentleman who came to the colonies and may be able to shed light on the shadows history before the 80's would be appreciated. He may not have originated from Stafford, but did return there.
Appreciate this is a small lead, but it was only discovered when the club identified my timing cover was for sale on ebay! It is being reunited with the bike after Easter. My existing cover is unstamped which I had assumed was related to it being such a late bike.
