Personally, I don't see the point - except if you have a need to make your bike look really ugly...

Well, there is a certain kind of Vincent owner who acquires a Vincent-HRD and then sets about trying to turn it into a Honda Pan-European or 1970s BMW 1000, with ugly fairings, indicators, luggage and other aesthetic atrocities, including massive car generators and so on.

LOL! Just teasing! You're dealing with a bloke who faced threats of mutilation, slow-roasting and other forms of retribution should he follow through on his plan to paint every black cycle part of his Rapide pink, with "Pink Panther" on the tank in Nero-style script...or on the DMD fairing, also pink with some suggestive artwork on its schnozz...
