Speedo Refurbishment

I have an old US speedo where the decals on the mileage drums are delaminating so need to replace, miles are black on white, 10ths white on black, in fact the 10ths are all OK. I am optimistically hoping that replacement adheasive strips of these numbers can be sourced from somewhere?.

Or any suggestions how to DIY, not bothered about original appearance. No. I don't want to hand paint and printing my own on adhesive paper would be a last resource.

See if you can find or borrow a copy of "The vintage motorcyclists workshop" that has dial templates and notes on speedo refurbishment
