Could anybody tell me the size and thread of the 4 small grubs screws that hold the anchor end of the brake shoes to the pegs please. On the Prince the rear brake have split pins but the front has very small grub screws.

To go back to answering the question for John; yes, John, you likely have Series A Brake Shoes on your Series D. The grubscrew thread is 3/16 BSW. But I would strongly urge you don't use a grubscrew, but a 3/16 BSW cheesehead screw (Item 220 - with possibly a little filed off the threaded end) so that it can be locked down at the head - without touching the pivot-pin and locking-up!

Alternatively, I could swap you for post-war split-pin type shoes… !
