Remember the advert "a Knight at the Roebuck" just before launch at 1954 show."

I have read the above comment on a photo of an enclosed D.

I have no recollection of ever seeing any reference to "the Roebuck at Broadwater".
Does anyone any idea about the pre 1954 Show adverts?
Any shown in books, magazines etc?

I do not yet have access to the book on VIN Adverts by David Wright.

I'm not sure it is what you are after but I think that I still have either a 'Green Un' or a 'Blue Un' with that advert in it. It would probably take some time to find it!

A guy in So Cal had (maybe still has) an early enclosed D. I took a few pictures of two features he said were different than on later ones. I am not sure what he was referring to about the reflector. Too bad I didn't get the full reg no.

the lady with dark hair Joan Scott ,Ted Davis, PA, still lives near Stevenage I spent a few hours with her july this year
