Hello All...

In the last throws now of getting the '48 series 'B' Rapide back together...it's a 'preservation job this one...not a restoration...

Problem: 'Need a battery for it...and have very limited funds...any suggestions about finding something which will do the job and won't cost too much...?

John Healy of Coventry Motors suggested this to me. 6 volt maintenance free sealed lead acid battery such as used in emergency lighting that comes on when your power goes off. I got mine at BatterySpec.com in 9/2012 for $12.8o (U.S.) plus $11.79 shipping. It will fit in the battery case with a little foam rubber for packing. Part no on battery wasTR6-6 .
