With the rejuvenation of the Series 'A' Section, how about a photograph of any Series 'A' machines that you have.

Here's mine - a 1938 Series 'A' Meteor taken at the 2008 Annual Rally at Battlesbridge.

Shown with my eldest lad @Josh Smith sitting on the bike, he's now 19 and is already itching to ride it on the road.

1939 Comet with Comet Special spec. engine C985 so one of the last pre-war. Originally fitted with 4 gallon stainless tank and close ratio gearbox. Forks modified with Woodhead Monroe hydraulic damper.

Hi Graham

Here's my ex- Jeff Smith A twin (originally Glitterguts). I did 100 miles on it last Friday. I'm still chasing the "last" of the oil leaks and delaying a top end overhaul to deal to the smoke but I'm really enjoying it.
