Hi, I bought a seat frame a few years ago and just recently got it out to mock it up now the bike is going together. On looking at it the frame is not very symmetrical (wonky looking!). I'm unsure if it is just badly made or is it meant to be like that? The pics hopefully show what I'm seeing. Has anyone had this before?

Badly made but you might get away with it. Put it on the wood and make some pencil marks to see where the holes would be. If it really is hopeless and you bought it so long ago that you can't get your money back saw off one of the long legs and reweld. Remember that at the rear of the seat the supports for the friction dampers are pre-defined by where the tops of the friction dampers come up under the wood.

Thanks Norman, Bill. I was hoping there might be a reason but looks like it was a Friday afternoon job I've got some plywood to make a template so will try to make it work. Cheers
