Hi Peter

It was me who posted the photo. The thread on the body is 1/4 BSP and so fits straight into the tank and the std Vincent fuel fitting fits straight onto the other end. See
http://www.vincentownersclub.co.uk/showthread.php?2485-Leaking-ewarts-petrol-taps/page2
for more info. They are the best fuel taps I have ever used and also appear to be ethanol proof so far. Several other people have also used them including Tom Gaynor.
Also found them on ebay Uk item no. 250688577802. Not sure if they are available in the USA though.

Cheers,
Simon

Not sure if they are brass, but a magnet does not stick, so are not steel and so are most probably brass. The black plastic lever they come with is shaped at the back to act as the stops on the lever against the body. You could replicate this otherwise a plain lever with no stops could rotate 360 degrees. If you go down the route of fixing old mesh filters to the taps I suggested using Alaldite rapid to glue them on as in the previous VOC forum thread on fuel taps. Since then I have found Araldite 2022 which the manufacturers claim to be fuel resistant, but I have not actually used it. See:

Cheers,
Simon.

Hi Buzz,
Any good plumbing supplier, or pneumatics supplier should be OK. If you can get the ones with teflon seals.
