where can I find rubber wire I can remember it being mentioned some time ago inforum can you please help happy newyear

Is this the same as rubber string? If so then bearing and seal suppliers stock it. The stuff I am thinking of is the same material as is used for 'o'rings'.
It is available from some ebay sights that supply wiring and other parts for classic/vintage British cars........It appears to only be available in black and red.........I know because I bought some of both for the 1939 "A" Comet I restored a little while ago.........It was still available when I looked quite recently.
