I bought a rev counter off ebay india made so cheap it was worth a punt (Royal Enfield) it works fine and correctly with the right ratio. Using a power drill on the Vincent angle drive ie from the inside of the rev counter cover with the drill and a forked bit. With the chuck looking at the end going clockwise (same as the ATD) it drives the existing 3" rev counter on my Flash OK. unfortunately to get a reading from the indian rev counter I have to reverse the drill so I think what I need is a 2:1 non reversing gearbox as fitted to the 5" jobbies am I right?
