Hi
Is the above cable easy to replace?
Had one go last night at the handlebar end but luckily still managed to start it.
Any help appreciated.

Assuming that you mean the 'valve lifter cable' and that the bike is not fitted with decompressors then it is about as easy a job as you could possible want on a bike. Just follow the route of the cable to ensure that you fit the new one the same route and then remove the old and fit the new. Top end is, or should be, obvious, the bottom end only requires two bits to the rear of the timing cover to be removed and the new cable slipped in. Go for it!!

Thanks for the reply.
Yes it's the valve lifter or 'exhaust lifter' in Paul Richardson's book.
Looking at the bottom end and the diagram in the book I thought I may have to remove the cover to attach
the cable.
