Rear rack

Can anybody help? Tony gave me a rear rack (believed to be a craven)which worked fine last year. The problem arose when i bought one of the new longer seats. The rack had to be extended to accommodate the longer seat so a friend of mine came and measured it and then took the rack away to adjust. He took out the relevant cross member and was about to start rewelding when the whole rack just collapsed on the original welds(which in itself is worrying as kath was leaning on it all of last year). The point is we have now lost the original trig points and my pal doesnt want to bolt the loose members on the bike and start welding. Does anybody have a drawing of a rack so we can get measurements or know where or if such a drawing exists
