Rear Hub Cones

Just had a look at the cones in my rear hub and one of them looks a bit past it's best. What is the best way of removing them? Is there a special tool or will heating the hub and banging it down on the bench get them out? Tapping them out from the other side looks like it's difficult as there is not much of a lip to get a drift onto.
