I attended two Keith Code and one Freddy Spencer school, and got additional coaching instruction from a friend on a similar Ducati who had been #2 or #3 in his class at the time at ARHMA. At my second Keith Code school I was rounding a curve on the track faster than any human being had ever ridden a motorcycle around that curve, when I was passed on the inside by one of the instructors steering with one hand while he was turned backwards on the seat to give me hand signals with his other hand. Sigh...

I went to a Keith Code school in 1982 and when they took the class out on the warmup lap, I thought that I had never ridden that fast before! It was on a Kaw GPZ550 when I was only used to 1 liter twins, so that is my excuse. I did settle down and my lap times did drop.

The Fischesser family are true flat tankers enthusiasts. Dad, Mom, boys, girls, cousins, everybody is involved. They thrash their Velocettes AJ's, Sunbeams at each opportunity.
