Petrol Tank Painting

Can anyone recommend a good painter who can paint a tank with a quality finish and put the transfers/pinstripes in the correct place?

Try Colin Smilie he has done a couple of tanks for me any they are spot on, you can see three tanks in his picture gallery (almost the last picture) and he is not too expensive, use this link to his website.

Colin Smillie, at Pathhead. His paint shop is just off the A68, about 20 miles south of Edinburgh. He is quite reasonably priced. I've had tanks (not Vin) done by him: very good job, ready inside two weeks (and free carriage via the VOC Freight Company). It seems he has become Scotland's "Vin tank job go-to man", and I've heard nothing but praise. I've seen one of his tanks, and it was complete with transfers and gold lining. It certainly looked right, although I didn't measure.
