I was looking at the Series A brochure and noted the optional Patented Sprung Luggage Carrier for £1 15s. I have used espacenet.com before to look up patents and wondered if I could find the original. A 5 minute search turned up patent GB424644A dated 26th Feb 1935 by Phillip Conrad Vincent. There’s description and series of drawings of the Series A pillion seat. Nothing on the carrier itself so I assume it replaces the pillion seat. Does anyone have a picture of the carrier?
