This is the best I have ever done , With 19" wheels, Like a lot of us, It has driven me mad, But never got round to doing a proper job. Cheers Bill.

You're not alone Bill, I put the rear stays in the wrong place so I've got some rubber blanking plugs in the wrong holes & at the front I got the hole for the support bracket in the wrong place but luckily thats hidden by the bracket.
What was I saying about Bodge It & Scarper Co.

I have the same one on my Shadow. I got if off evilbay as well. Went looking for one for my Comet and they're all gone.

Hi Bill, just finished refitting the front mudguard. Not perfect but a lot better than it was. Shortened the stays formed new ends and shrunk the front mudguard radius as recommended on VOC Spares Co site. Chest expander method. Front is 19".

Yes, made top support from a block of ally. Carefully crafted to improve aero and front cylinder cooling.
