Please look at drawing MO32/1. They are part number FT164 (2 off, Shadows only) and stud FT155 runs through them. Maybe someone in the past substituted a mere painted up Rapide no bearing mag cowl on your engine? Bye-bye Concours win!! ;-);-)

These must be the bits that need the left handed smoke spanner to remove, right?

Concourse win, are you kidding? Comet RFM and Shadow UFM and I know I have the wrong number and position of washers holding on my rear mud guard, the 5 inch speedo face has the wrong print number for a 52 bike , and my primary cover has an oil drain plug tapped into the boss... Hell a Huffy push bike from Stevenage is better Vincent then mine is on the concourse..:) though mine does run a treat.:))
