It has not taken Ian long to get this sorted out and now you can get a part that will fit either a Comet or the twins since Ian and VOC spares have reengineered the part in less than a fortnight. Side by side the difference can barely be seen but was enough to be a problem . I fitted one to new A22 mods to the Comet this morning. Thanks for such prompt action Ian.

I only needed to file a slight amount from the FT23/2 to get the banjo part of the oil drain in on my Comet. The notch is barely noticeable.

Hi Ian,

I realise that you have retired but could you, next time you are visiting the Spares Company, measure the length of these A22s.

I am using a thicker banjo with fairly solid Dowty washers and have found some older aluminium A22s to be too short.
I need at least 35mm from start of thread to underside of head and would like a stainless drain banjo.

The issue with SS A22's is that its not all that difficult to damage the thread in the case. Aluminium banjo's reduce the risk
