My Norvin handles as good as any Norton I have ridden and I've sampled a few. And it does it with Vincent power delivery.
I've also sampled some standard Vins and definitely prefer my special.
Did you ever try a good Norvin?

Not my feeling. My Norvin has justified its existence itself in taking me all over Europe and back home on its own wheels so far.
It's just that the "two good bikes butchered" cliché is used too often. I can't imagine anyone breaking two complete machines to build a special, it's the other way round, Norvins are sometimes a collection of parts assembled to put another machine on the road. Let see what I will end up with this collection of parts that were on my shelves for years.

Both wheels and forks are Norton. So the name should include a Nor or a Ton! :)

The adjustable "Screw jacks" are novel.
They do work well but I didn't find a way to move and set the engine in horizontal planes so I need another pair of hands to help me slide it slowly. When in the right place designing the engine plates is a piece of cake.

Frame name always takes precedent over ancillary parts, but it's your creation, call it what you want.
