Do you know this couple or the 1949 B Rapide OFC 109 ?
The bike isn't known to the UK DVLA or currently showing as owned by a VOC member.

While I had my pictures out of the Montana NA Rally (for another thread) I had a look for any 'lost' UK reg numbers to no avail. Its a funny thing but I am willing to bet that there are more Vincents in USA still carring their UK front numberplate blades than in the UK. some have 'Black Shadow 52' etc, but a lot still carry the UK Reg number.

Thanks for looking around at the rally.
A lot of people don't realise the significance of the registration numbers allocated by DVLA (Driver & Vehicle Licensing Authority) in the UK. Both the DVLA and our VOC factory records utilise the registration number and chassis numbers, which is an invaluable source of information.
If anyone has the original number for their Vincent, its always worth dropping Simon Dinsdale (Machine Registrar) or myself a line to find out any history for you. It also helps us keep the database up to date, which benefits everyone.
