Nut/Tank contact problem .....

Just to investigate the intentional/accidental excessive steering rotation theory,
would someone please measure their lock-stop to lock-stop rotation?

Mine is 85 degrees, with a 5 degree scatter on repeat measurement.
If I rotate it to a clearance of 10mm, it is about 10 degrees of rotation.
So I would have a total of 20 degrees of excess rotation ..... crumbs.

This would be 10mm of clearance from the Nut to the Tank.

Had a similar problem on the outfit when it had a 5gal fibre glass tank. For a quick fix, I drilled the stop and put in a self tapping stainless screw, and the head was enough to stop it touching. DJ
