Be careful some are a little too big to go in the 4. 1/4", Angle grinder,
I had to cut and weld the guard to make it bigger,
I don't think it's safe to use with out the guard.

A decent angle grinder is an essential household equipment, but for the adjuster I´d think it to be a bit bulky. A hacksaw will do for first cut but you need a 1.5mm slot I think. So for this a Dremel grinding disc would be more handy - and safety goggles for sure !

Any idea what size your inner cable is Josh? You said that it is heavy duty so could be 1.5 mm or 2mm?

Hi everyone,

Just an update on the clutch. Thanks to Pete Appleton for milling out a slot in the side of the adjusting bolt, there is plenty of adjustment in the cable now and it feels a lot better at the handlebars (there is significantly less free play).

The next step will be to actually test it. (With any luck I’ll be out on it on Wednesday.)
