People certainly pay a premium for that original number, last rapide frame sold right away for 4,500 US just a few weeks back.

It just strikes me as odd. That he found a buyer for two RFM within six months. That one that is missing brackets went for $7000 that quick. I'm sure it's all fine. I'm just a very suspicious person when it comes to evil bay.

Ah, gotcha. Rapide frame sent out to Australia,

This shadow we accepted a solid offer so it was less than 7k and headed to the UK.

why not sell this to club members not eBay? You will save the fees. I guess the only the things is you won't get eBay prices.

You will however be happy in knowing that someone will put a bike back on the road.

It seems that most people who end up purchasing are forum members as well, pricing some items is difficult and I think this way solves that issue.

We did see that one upper frame we sold to Godet ended up on a completed rapide that was at auction this past January, that was really rewarding to see.

Well that is a bit confusing! I thought the RFM seller "Knowthybeast69" was the same character selling the new crankcases "Knowthybeast" . Clearly I hadnt looked closely enough, they are on opposite sides of the pond.
I am surprised the cases havent moved at 4200Golly British Poonds. I would be keen except that it make 8300 Pacific Pasos which is out of my reach right now.
