Hello Alan,

should be no problem. The condeser I`ve used when reworking was new (orig. Bosch for ignition). Expect that ground contact is failure root.
Will get my wifes New Imp this weekend off the lifter after 6 weeks for total maintenance. Hope my Shaow won`t be on for more than 4 weeks but should be no problem.
Winter here in Bavaria goes for at least for 8 more weeks.

Sebastian, I have just returned from "the Welsh Dragon Rally'-our equivalent of your "Elephant"-in a little snow and minus 4 degrees! I went on my 500 Morini a bit more suitable than a heavy Vincent in bad weather! There I saw a 250 New Imperial so original-never re-painted! I will get my wife to send you a photo of it soon!
