what is the difference between the front upper and lower mudguard stays for Aluminium alloy mudguards? regards Erik

If you think about it, the mudguard should have the same centre as the wheel and tyre, that is the spindle. The mudguard stays cannot be fastened on the spindle centre, hence the need for different length stays.

If you place the legs against a straight edge one measures 15-3/8" to the outside of the arc and the other measures 16" to the outside of the arc.

thank you! i didn`t realise that and wondered why it is not easy to Mount ,especially with stainless steel mudgards.
