Bought a KD bench years ago and have been very pleased with it. The Vincent goes on there ok but has to well forward to get it on the rear stand. On mine, the bike goes on the opposite end to the jack, but can go either way. I would recommend a steel plate under the stand instead of straight onto the wood, and another pair of hands to stop it slipping as you put it on the stand. Good luck. P.S. I use a scissor stand for the outfit when it is still together and can get both wheels of the ground together if needed.
