As far as "losing out" goes I think you actually won. You didn't lose $20K :) The link to the Indian has vanished so I guess either e-bay pulled it or the seller (?) got cold feet.

I have been Toying with having a sell up, Must be getting Old, But how can you take this sort of money for these old bikes, They could go bang at any time !! It don't make sence to me, But as Keith says, there were 29 bids, I only got £500 for my BMW K100 and they go on forever. Cheers Bill.
