Hi - I at last got a new armature, but find that when assembling the dynamo drive bits (PD16, PD28, PD15/1, PD17AS, PD23, 198), there is only about a tenth of an inch of thread left to hold nut 198, not very secure!!
Tried two other armatures, similar, so I wonder if PD16 taper is too small (unlikely?), or maybe PD16 is too thick.
Can anyone please advise how thick PD16 should be? (main body and 'step').
Or what else may be wrong? How thick should be PD15/1?
