Bravo, the heat did it. As to solvents for anaerobic glues , paint stripper or gasket removers will soften that stuff for easy removal - once in open air. But for undoing screws it will not creep into windings in acceptable time so heat is the way. As repeatedly suggested, do a test with a LOW strength Loctite or other brand to get the feel . It is very rarely a need for the "normal" type, and extremely rare for the strong, almost unbreakable type on any fastener on your bike. You can only have those when you got hexagon heads for high forces to undo later. For slotted and grub screws onyl low strength is advisable.

I agree with Martin. If its that tight leave well alone. I am only a newbie but found it simple to assemble in situ following Glen Baxters instructions from an old MPH. Why waste time and possibly heat damage the caseing
