Just heard that Malcolm Hewitt has a new modified pushrod gas record of 153 MPH on the salt lake,
Terry Prince did a 143 MPH on his Side car. and a 1938 comet did a 120 MPH, I am sure more details will arrive shortly. Trev.

Now I see how the Comet speed makes more sense. It's running in the 650cc fuel class. Still, with all that and no streamlining, that's pretty impressive.
Too bad they had more rain issues this year, they are certainly overdue for a year with better conditions.
