How many crankcases has he produced and if he has sold any into the UK . What are the costs of the cases , the starter motor and its clutch . Is the combined generator / ignition system an off the shelf item or made just for this project . Can the standard clutch cover from a Vincent be used .

here´s Ernst´s answer, translated from his own words.
"Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, it is correct, I am manufacturing my own engines, using electric starter and
150W- Generator/ electronic ignition unit in place of the original magneto. The engines with electric starter
have primary belt drive and a modified 3 - spring - clutch, system Norton-multiplate.
For a start, I had some 15 engine castings been manufactured, of which, by now, 10 are in use in Germany and abroad. The last 5 have been sold and are being completed within the near future.
This is why, even in the case of Interest to buy, I am unable to sell any further engines.
