My twin is about to be fitted with a J.G. Reg. which comes with all instructions for wiring, but where to mount it?? The obvious place is atop the dynamo clamp as per my current car type 6 volt regulator/cutout, but other manufacturers of similar modern electronic 12 volt conversions suggest the unit mounts "in a cool air position". Is this a requirement for the J.G., and where are all the J.G. users hiding theirs that are operating satisfactorily?? All happy night riders, feel free to enlighten me.

Running the Vincent H.R.D. Owners Club online forum costs money, and like other organisations, we have annual software and hosting costs which are significant. These costs are paid for entirely by the Members of our Club. Sadly, we don't have a magic money tree!

If you're viewing this annoying messsage, you have been identified as a regular non-Member user of our online forum for some time, and we’d really appreciate it if you could give some thought to joining the Club to offset some of the costs mentioned previously.
