I have just read in the motorcycling magazine (Bike) an article on motorcycle insurance. Did you know that unless you ask specifically for pillion cover, they are not insured. Apparently they are legally covered under the third party rules, but if the insurance company has to pay out they will then sue you for their losses. The legal beagle in the mag advises that you ask your insures for cover when renewing as they hide this get out clause in the small print. Has anyone else come across this and would you need to get cover for the passengers in your cars?
