Might as well let you guys that aren't in the know and might be looking for

some information on the green card 3rd party insurance for Europe which you

need if you are bringing a foreign bike over here, use Ivo and Polly at

Motocamp Bulgaria you can do it all online its around 140 Euro for 3 months

just Google them and its all to easy and pretty much the cheapest you will

find, one tip is don't buy it in Germany you will pay 3 times the amount for

pretty much the exact same thing.

motocampbg@yahoo.com this is their contact.

Poly & I have FINALLY found a Bulgarian insurance company that will sell

green card insurance to us for people with bikes not EU registered!

cost is

60 euros 1 month

100 euros 2 months

140 euros 3 months

The green card is the minimum insurance you must have for using a foreign registered vehicle in the EU. You will see in France if you look on vehicles, including motorcycles, a green ticket attached to the vehicle. It`s third party only, you have to take out extra if you need more coverage.

Thanks Tracey but I see it is only valid for drivers up to 65 years old.

I think there are quite a few drivers out there under 65 that need a report declaring the fitness to drive or to push a pram for that matter. But that is a different issue.
