MO41A observation - some versions of the spares manuals had Crankcase Stud I (eye or aye) listed at bottom right and J (jay) at bottom center. Others that I have seen, both earlier (series B) and later manuals (Harper's), show those as J and L; there is no Stud I. Nice reference; have you thought of adding thread lengths to it?

In post #8, best part of a year ago, I made a mistake in the descriptions of what Vincents Phil Primmer owned. The Comet bits Phil sold in about 1980 were the basis of a trials outfit. The buyer wanted std frame parts so with uncharacteristic generosity I supplied him with a standard UFM, RFM and other bits. I sourced a set of Roadholders and got the bike through a first MoT. The new owner rode it away and was never seen again.
When Phil sold his Shadow it was to fund his trike project which was to be Comet powered. I think I provided the crankcases and some internals but a big bore conversion was bought from Conways.
Sadly Phil never heard his Comet run.
