Bill, I notice looking at the title that we are way off topic, I am not concerned with that but I do expect to get the back of my legs slapped, if in fact it is still legal to do so, but what degree of accuracy will you be able to drill your 560 flywheels to with a magnetic pillar drill, not being an engineer of any description I was always under the impression that the alignment and fit of the crankpin is most important, with tolerances around one tenth of one thousandths of an inch, is that correct? I am just interested in your DIY project and do not want to appear critical in any way. Peter

The Moderator has the Power to delete.
It depends how much runout is on this tool, I have high hopes !.
We have a few thou to play with, ie how tight ?.
I will do it undersize, and somehow make it bigger !!.
There is only one way to find out !.
If it works, I will be 7 feet tall, If not, I tried.
