No, mine rear tire is 18" WM 3 rim and the tire is a Yokohama and this is very good and long lasting. It just fit in the rear.

some years ago i fitted a 21" rim to avoid this problem but with this solution i am also not happy, the bike is to much up at the front. will go back to 20" rim again.

I fitted a 21" stainless rim on my B Rapide for the same reason. It gives better handling as well as making tyre/tube selection easier (& cheaper). I also have a 21" front wheel on my C Comet. I wouldn't go back to a 20" rim on either but have retained
the standard 20" wheel on my "A" Comet for aesthetic reasons.

I have to agree with Albervin.

I have had a 21/19 setup on my Rap with std Avons for over 10 years & wouldn't go back to 2"0 unless tyres become unobtainable. Nor would I go for a 21/18 setup, which is probably why it seems up in the air. The prop stands are a bit iffy, but with a Dave Hill centre stand they have become redundant except when servicing the front end.

The 21" tyre also looks much better under the front mudguard.
