I was taught the 2 second rule but the problem with that is you still have to make the correct decision! I think I need 3 seconds now...... The solution is to overtake everything and have nothing in front of you..

Beware the 2 second drool especially when the sun is shinning. One rear end creates another rear ender.

Can't fault your solution.

The other point is, we motorcyclists of a certain age anticipate most problems before less experienced drivers, so we have a lot more time to react.
