I have no connection with Halcyon but I felt I had to tell you about their service. I wanted a mirror but my bars were made from stainless with a thicker wall than normal ( purchased from a well known Vincent specialist). I didn't realise this at the time so when I looked for a mirror, they were all for 7/8" standard bars whereas the id on mine is 15 mm. I emailed Halcyon, more in hope than expectation to see if they would make a custom adapter. Got an email back within the hour saying if I ordered (it was Mon), they made custom adapters on Tuesday. Ordered a mirror on line Monday got a confirming email saying they had made the adapter on Tuesday, got the mirror this morning (Wednesday). Contact was simon. Brilliant I think:D! They did this at no extra charge.

Whilst on the subject of good service, can I add one:

This weekend I took a few riding freinds from university to Sammy Millers to show them some 'cool old bikes'

We decided to go down the night before and camp in the New Forrest so that we could be there at opening time.

The VOC used to have a rally in early June to the New Forrest Red Shoot Inn, which I attended. However Red Shoot no longer allow motorcycles or Young people.... (Do not get me started.)

We found another camp site just around the corner called Ocknell camp site.

The site owners is restoring a couple of old BSAs at the moment. He was really freindly and offered his 'Large group & Rally site' at a discount if a group of bikers ever want to use it. Really helpful and willing to help.

Two thumbs up.
