Back to the subject of house swapping.
There are websites that already accomodate this, so maybe the answer is to post up a link to one, mention it on here every month or so and see if anyone takes you up on it. Other inquiries can just be turned down. I have no experience with it but my sister has swapped houses with people in Brittany, Sydney, Budapest, and one other place I can't recall. They have had the use (and given the use) of cars, boats, etc. All has worked out well for them in all cases.
