I am glad you remember as people got a kick out of that contraption. The footrest and gearshift lever have a quick detach knob on the end. it can instantly be slid off a keyed shorter shat that operates the shift linkage. The machine will start at idle and
you just snap the footrest/shift lever back on. I liked the siiy thing!

That is funny: I had never thought of it that way before. But, truthfully, there was only one way to start that beast..... and I was in procession of the secret!
