As you know, in 1952 Vincent made three Grey Flash road version. Can a specialist tell me if the rear mudguard was originally reinforced with FT152 or not?

Ask the spares company they have Grey Flash mudguards in stock F148/3A
I certainly did not fit one to my Replica a good washer underneath and the lack of all that numberplate and hinge gubbins I think its OK

Please read the question.
'Road version' therefore would need 'numberplate and hinge gubbins' ergo the alloy mudguard needs to be strengthened with the strip to support the weight.
