Grease nipples

Could someone please tell me whether the grease nipples on the front & rear brake actuating shafts are threaded in or a press fit. if threaded what size and thread is used? i suspect it would be easier to obtain new grease nipples than find a grease gun to fit.

I have been looking for some of those "old style" grease fittings, I would gladly pay the postage is someone had a few they could send me, even as many as a couple of dozen.

The straight ones can be turned down modern ones.

Those are British threads alright, but the zerk type end for the grease gun, I'm looking for the old style for the push on grease gun

The problem with turning down the modern type of greaes nipple is that you will lose the non return ball that stops the grease coming back out..John
