Welcome to Vincent ownership and, we hope soon, ridership!

I don't have the carb info handy, but you should take advantage of the excellent books available to help you make your Comet a reliable, fun bike. Know thy Beast, Richardson, Riders Manual, and the Spares List. Obtainable from the Club Spares Co ,Coventry Spares (a US shop and an advertiser here), or VinParts

Also, the SoCal Section is very active and joining the Club would open up a lot of help.

Google "Burlen amal", they sell new carbs for Comets and Twins.

Bob,

29F/1DV is the number you should look for, an 1-1/8" front carb that was aslo used on the "C" Black Shadows.

Welcome to Vincent world, may I strongly recommend purchasing a copy of 40 Years On, a compilation of technical and practical information over 40 years from MPH, the club magazine. Invaluable.

Thanks Bruce for promoting the section, but he's been a member of the So Cal section for a few years now.
