G: Gearbox (Twin) G93 too long, had to use original worn G93

Are there differing lengths of the G93 clutch plunger?
This is the new one that I found too long.

No photo of original G93, it was shorter and seemed to be the correct length as it adjusted and works well. What is to wear on a G93, maybe pin hole.

I looked at VOCS and did an overlay of pic on scale and it appears to me to be shorter than 0.625"
