There are many horror stories about building a twin gearset out of new pinions or mixed old and new components . UGH .
The new Club pieces were not compatible , no Go . Super headache , won't mix . Sid .

They are not the only ones that won't fit with original parts either..john

Once again we should be careful with the 'Original' epitaph those of us who lived through the barren years after Harper engines closed (perhaps that should be Vincents)and before the drawing committee started and CAD machining was less prevalent know what a shambles component interchangeability became.
