Fuel in the USA

Can anyone out there give me some advice on the availability of "sympathetic" fuel for my Comet, which is coming to America later this year? I am not very good at cutting through perimeter wires on Air Force bases,blackening my face,siphoning from a B25 or even synchronising my watch! I am planning California to Pennsylvania at a leisurely pace.Cheers,F5AB/2A/7945

I just buy whatever "regular" gasoline the gas station has for my 8:1 piston Rapide. The next grade is $.10 more per gallon and doesn't hurt, but doesn't seem necessary. I have Shadow carbs, so no rubber gaskets to be affected by the ethanol.
